MAO ZE-DONG毛澤東
HUNAN, CHINA1893-1976
Born in Chang Sha, Hu Nan in 1893.  Alias name Zi Ren, Chinese politician, strategist, Chinese communist, People’s Liberation Army and main leader of R.O.C.  Three major changes: Anti Rightist Movement, The Great Leap Forward, Cultural Revolution and main leaders of the first series of political movements; creates a profound influence for the 20th century of China.  In 1942 in Yan An, Yang Jia-Ling held a press conference on writers and artists.  Mao Ze-Dong addressed that speech and proposed: “Literature and art for the people, first of all serve the workers and farmers.”  This response became the leading propaganda for art and culture.  Mao passed away in Beijing in 1976.
