Born Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Wang Xin-Feng graduated from Eastern Design College where he’s teaching at present.  His early works based much on ink painting, revealing a massive magnaminity; most of his topics are natural sceneries.  Passing 40, he began to set off from Taiwanese history, presenting his works with local stories to conveying the difficulties and toil of the democracy development in Taiwan.  He also changes material to acrylic after realizing inks fail to satisfy him.  He thinks that everyone has his/her own perspective and aesthetic toward a painting yet it’s necessary to comprehend one work according to its historical and artistic aspect.  It’s not difficult to present a surface, but what is important is to transformed the surface landscape up to a state of mind; this depends not only on skills but more on one’s spirit or altitude of mind or thinking to realize completely.
