Huang Chin-Lung is a well-known Taiwanese watercolor painter.  He’s currently teaching at Department of Fine Art, National Normal University.
He had won medal of “Watercolor Creation Award” in the 38th session by The China Arts Association as well the “Golden Duke Award” by Chinese Painting Institute.  He has published many books and essays about watercolor. 
Growing up in a fishing village in Dongang, Pintong, Huang’s profound emotion for local is always aroused by the fishing scenery especially the fishing boats.  He excels not only in depicting ports and nature but also in figures and still life.  People sometimes consider his watercolor painting to be oil painting because of his special technique in presenting between transparency and non-transparency.  
His numbers of works and painting subjects are abundant; Style changeable.  Plural solo exhibitions were held after his first one at Gauoge Gallery (高格畫廊) in 1992 such as “ Flower Quotes “at Capital Art Center (首都藝術中心) and “Huang Ching-lung; Wander Heart; Hometown Mood.” in 1997.
